The Northwest Behavioral Health Institute (formerly NWIAS) Conference is a premier and longstanding event in the behavioral health and substance use disorder fields. Now in its 52nd year, the conference has become a trusted staple in the behavioral health community, known for delivering high-quality education, meaningful connection, and practical insight for professionals across the region and beyond.

Guided by this year’s theme, Connected for Change: Transforming Behavioral Health Through Education, Collaboration, & Community, the conference emphasizes the power of bringing people together to strengthen systems of care and drive meaningful, lasting impact.

Held annually in Portland, Oregon, the conference enters a new chapter this year at the DoubleTree by Hilton, continuing to bring together more than 400 professionals, including CEOs, Program Directors, SUD specialists, social workers, counselors, psychologists, and other helping professionals.
